Public engagement
The Department of Law is constantly engaged in initiatives promoting study and outreach which involve citizens and local communities, taking into account the national and international context. Special attention is given to the promotion of peace and the protection of fundamental rights. A wide range of activities organized by the Department are open to the public and benefit from the active involvement of university students and the collaboration of third-sector associations, public institutions and companies. Many initiatives aim to have a direct and positive impact on the local community and provide support for the analysis and shaping of public policies.
The teaching staff of the Department sometimes take part in the activities, meetings and public debates, seminars, book presentations, and film forums organized with the involvement of civil society and cultural associations.
